After a successful day’s writing yesterday, I reached 35,000 words of my second novel written. Today is the first official day of the challenge I’ve set myself to write some words, no matter how few, every day for 100 consecutive days. Today: 539 words added.

I currently have 34,000 words of my second book written. I am setting myself a 100 day challenge to write something every day that progresses this book to a completed first draft. No matter how few words, I will write something every day!

I spent the day at a Writer’s HQ retreat in Birmingham yesterday where I continued working on my second thriller novel. It was a productive day and as ever, was a great environment to work on my project and meet other writers.

I am excited to be working on a follow up to The Doctor’s Hidden Patients. It is a different story with new characters but will have a link back to my debut novel. It is my ambition to have a first draft finished by Spring 2025 and I can’t wait to transport you to a…
