365 words added today which takes me to about 150 words short of 4,000 words written so far in 2025 and it’s only the eighth day of the year.

Just 161 words added today but progress is progress.

Another 313 words added today. Organising some time around other commitments is a crucial part of the challenge.

A productive day in the 100-day writing challenge today. 1021 words added.

I’ve managed a further 535 words today while Mrs Shelano took down the Christmas decorations.

After a successful day’s writing yesterday, I reached 35,000 words of my second novel written. Today is the first official day of the challenge I’ve set myself to write some words, no matter how few, every day for 100 consecutive days. Today: 539 words added.

I currently have 34,000 words of my second book written. I am setting myself a 100 day challenge to write something every day that progresses this book to a completed first draft. No matter how few words, I will write something every day!

I spent the day at a Writer’s HQ retreat in Birmingham yesterday where I continued working on my second thriller novel. It was a productive day and as ever, was a great environment to work on my project and meet other writers.
